The Oceanfront Estate is an ambitious renovation of a featureless building on the ocean in the Pacific Islands. Since the original structure couldn't be altered, new levels were designed within it: a basement of garages, storage, and a wine cellar; a ground floor devoted entirely to living and entertaining, opening to the pool; and an upper floor of bedrooms and a gym overlooking the ocean. White marble and full-length glass give the existing shell a modern, discreet luxury.
