Albiona Hoxha

Albiona Hoxha is an architectural designer specializing in high-end residential work. She holds a Master of Science in Architecture, is based in Chicago, and has worked in the U.S. market for the past several years.

Her career began on institutional and military projects across Europe - commissions for NATO and the U.S. Army valued between $10 and $50 million, coordinating large consultant teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Luxury residential has been the focus since. The work is primarily U.S.-based: residences in Aspen, hillside villas in California, an oceanfront estate renovation in the Pacific Islands, and condo remodels in Chicago - alongside international projects in the south of France, Australia, and St. Barts, and a substantial body of residential and commercial remodels in Kosovo. She has also completed commercial work for ecommerce and technology companies, including showrooms and workplace interiors.

Having worked with more than fifty private clients over eight years, she takes projects from siting and schematic design through construction documentation, custom millwork, and construction administration. Working across that many climates, codes, and building cultures means she designs to the site in front of her rather than to a house style.

Her Los Altos residence received the Rethinking The Future Award and the Urban Design & Architecture Design Award.
